Our Beginning
Welcome to Lakeport Tire and Auto Service! Our history starts in 1993, when Bob and Toni Funderburg created the business from the ground up, built on the principles of loyalty, integrity, and transparency. Bob and Toni developed and perfected the auto repair service shop you know today for nearly two decades. In 2019, Bob and Toni decided to start a new adventure in retirement and thus began their search for new ownership. During this time, Steve and Kathleen Short of Mesa, Arizona, searched for a new business venture to call their own. They happened upon Lakeport Tire and Auto Service here in Lakeport, California, and the rest is history. Steve and Kathleen officially became owners of the shop in 2021. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the solid foundation that Bob and Toni constructed with their vision to be an honest and reliable auto repair facility for Lakeport and beyond.
